Context
Why did Real Hotels Group need this?
Sustainability reports ship as PDFs nobody opens. RHG wanted its ESG story readable, verifiable, and in both languages it operates in.
Product
What did we build?
A statically generated editorial platform: cover, KPI wall, five chapters and a data explorer, in PT and EN. Every figure resolves to one canonical model, carrying value, unit, claim tier, GRI reference and trend, so a number is never just a number on a page.
Experience
What is it like to use?
The report reads as one continuous scroll with count-ups and a district-level map of Portugal precomputed at build time. Reduced motion is the substrate: every animated figure server-renders its final value first.
Engineering
How is it built?
Accessibility and language parity are enforced automatically rather than promised. Content has to exist in both languages, contrast and loading speed have to meet a set standard, and anything falling short stops the release. That check has already forced one brand colour to be darkened.
Outcome
What changed?
The platform is built and gated. The 2025 canonical dataset and final editorial content are in progress with RHG. Labelled in development until they land.
